Apply Now to Live in a Learning Community

Learning Communities are currently available for a limited number of first year students entering the University in Fall 2008. Students who have been accepted to UConn, paid their deposit, and received a NetID may apply to a Learning Community.

In order to be considered for a Learning Community, you must also fill out your
online housing application
for Residential Life. If you have not already done so, please click here.
A new window will be automatically opened over this page where you can submit
the Online Housing Application.

If you have any questions or problems while submitting your Learning Community application, please call First Year Programs at (860) 486-3378.

Students will be notified if they
have been selected for a Learning Community in early August 2008 through UConn e-mail.

Learning Community participants will live in a Residence Hall with students who have a similar focus
or major.
Learning Community participants will be automatically enrolled in a one credit INTD class during the Fall semester that is designed for their Learning Community.
Participants in some Communities will also be registered for additional classes together. Please click here to see which classes your Community includes.
